    • Not often do you find bed and breakfast accommodation that offers excellence yet convenience, true luxury yet real comfort.  The 1890's period cottage is located on an acre of beautiful grounds just a stones throw from the centre of Bowral and achieves all of that and more.  Although centrally located, set at the rear of the property, the house is peaceful and relaxing. Take a stroll into town or to Bradman Oval before breakfast for an invigorating start to the day.

  • Strathburn Cottage Luxury Bed and Breakfast is owned and run by Lenia and Tony White.  They are young and enthusiastic which is obvious in their demeanor and attention to detail from the immacculate presentation of the house to the pampering at breakfast time.

    Bowrals restaurants and coffee shops are just a few minutes walk away but, when at the house, you would not know that you weren't miles away from it all. A choice in style of accommodation is available so individual requirements are catered for.


  • The Southern Highlands, and especially Bowral, has much to offer those who choose to visit, from some of the best cool climate vineyards, many of which have cellar doors, to five hugely enjoyable 18 hole golf courses all of which have unique characteristics and are always in great shape.  Bowral Golf Club and Bowral Country Club are very close by, Moss Vale Golf Club, Highlands Golf Club and Mount Broughton are just ten minutes drive from the house.
